Our Valued Donors

Green Trees Early Learning Center, Inc. is a registered, charitable organization. We focus on providing high quality early education experiences and excellence in care and teaching. Green Trees has been awarded four out of four stars through the Pennsylvania Keystone Stars. As a non profit organization we focus on programs for families, children and community members. We provide care for children participating in the Head Start program, Pennsylvania state subsidy for child care and scholarships available through The Greater Pike Community Foundation. In addition to affordable tuition for families, we provide a free food program with nutritious meals prepared on site.

As a non-profit organization, we rely on grants and donations to support our important role in the community. For 35 years, hundreds of families have grown in our program, beginning as infants and going on to elementary school, high school, college, and then returning back with their own children. We value the relationships we have built and look forward to continuing to provide care and education to our young children. We can only do this with your help! Donations go toward general operations, class supplies, extracurricular programs for the children and more. We have provided innovative activities for children such as gardening, yoga, outside speakers, trips, and more with your help. With each donation we receive, individuals and other organizations are recognized with our growing tree awards at either a sprouting tree, bronze tree, silver tree or gold tree. Please take a moment to see below the many wonderful individuals who have invested in early education.

We would like to acknowledge support we received through grants from The Pike County Community Foundation, The Scranton Area Community Foundation, The Covid-19 Relief Fund, Price Chopper of Matamoras, and The Pike County Community Block Grant. If you are interested in making a donation or becoming an annual donor please contact us. Thank you for your time and investing in the children of our community.
